L. S. Keilbart set herself a goal to write while in high school. But it was only after a severe head-on collision in her late thirties that she made the time to accomplish her objective. She has won numerous awards in local competitions for her poetry and was nominated by the International Society of Poets as the New Poet of the Year for 2004. She lives in Idaho and is the mother of seven children. The Holy One is the fifth book in her continuing series.
Illustrator Barbara Benson has been drawing and painting forever. She has won numerous local awards for her work. She lives in Utah with her cat, Dinky, who she has integrated into this story.
